It is very important. Reading is involve in all subjects. We read even in Mathematics .Reading is not only calling words, but also understanding what words mean. Communication in any language is very important. If we do not know that this word means poison,[an example] then we are in trouble. Not recognising the word exit in any language can create problems. [an example]. Reading is vital ; we may not all become doctors and lawyers, but we such all achieve a high degree of literacy , so that we can for example : read and discuss the news and keep abreast and in touch with world events, shows that we are cultivated, not barbarians.
