I don't have really bad dandruff, but my scalp gets itchy and has some flakes when I just use regular shampoo. But I color my hair, and when I used my tea tree shampoo for my scalp, my color just drained right out and my hair stayed more damaged. Is there any shampoo that combines those two hair types? Thanks!!

I have colored my hair over and over (pink, black, brown, red..) and it was slowly killing it - I still colour it, however use IV Cosmeocuticals.
Its a rich shampoo thats made for color treated - not to heavy to laden the hair down. I find its rich enough to moisturize the scalp whilst soothing it. Plus its made for colored hair.
Usually only found in salons or online.

Use L'Oreal Elvive For Coloured hair and for dandruff/ dry and itchy scalp you can use any of the following time tested home remedies, they will not be harsh on your hair or scalp:

1. Apply lemon juice thoroughly on your scalp 3-4 hrs before shampooing your hair, do this twice a week, after 4-5 times your hair and scalp will be totally free of all problems, flakes and dandruff.

2. Put some curd in normal heat or in a casserole and let it ferment and get sour for 4-5 days. Gently massage it in your hair before shampoo, using this only twice will get you rid of all flakes, dandruff and itchy scalp. It will also contition your hair.

These sure would solve your problem...

the John Frieda color line is great and inexpensive. Get a Shampoo and a Conditioner in whatever tone your hair is, and you're good to go.

Stop dying your hair!

By a Boar Bristle brush and brush fifty strokes on each side of your hair twice a day!

Look for a shampoo that has little or NO alkali! (ACID)

Read the label on the shampoo. The ones with less alkali tend to cost more!
