uh...just to let everyone know...I dumped my last 3 exs....so it's not cuz they dumped me...

It's because your ex's have been up close and personal. They KNOW things about you, often intimate details, and this puts you in a potentially vulnerable situation if they decide they don't want to stay silent. If things went sour between before, during, or after the break-up, then you can add hurt feelings to the mix as well.
Hopefully, they understand that personal information isn't for sharing - though that might be hard depending on how you parted ways. You just have to hope it works out when it comes to the crunch.

Because you keep thinking about how it used to be.
Which is making the present more uncomfortable since things weren't the way it was in the past.

who knows...maybe bad experiences??? Or maybe if you've had relationships with them it's hard for you to find interest in them again... but yeah I've had that feeling to, I hate it but eventually we talk again, maybe you should just break the chain of events and just go up like nothing ever happened/
