i might date them but not for long mainly because it would cause too many problems and we'd argue a lot which isn't a good relationship...you don't have to have some agree with you totally on any subject but it certainly helps a relationship if you share the same basic beliefs

Well, I am about as middle of the roader Centrist as you get.
I've dated both liberals and conservatives, but only a few that have been "drastically" to the left or to the right.
I'd say for me, I can't really see myself in a long term or permanent relationship with anyone that goes much past mid-moderacy on either side. People that are "political" tend to bring that baggage into their relationships, and relationships are hard enough with trivial everyday matters without bringing the beta noir of politics into it.
So, would I "date" them? Possibly. Marry them or consider marrying them? Doubtful.
It also depends on what your definitiion of "date" is. If dating = casual sex, then well...use your imagination. ;)
Peace out!

Well I have been going out with my boyfriend for 4months. We have totally different political views. As being from South Africa, the both of us, he still votes for the party which started the Apartheid and I vote for the Democrats. It's not going to be an issue if you make it an issue. For me I enjoy politics but I don't take it as seriously as my boyfriend does. Only if you both take it seriously will it become a big issue.

No, I think that those are pretty important to me. Why start something with a person that you are non-compatible with?
I guess if you don't have strong views, then you can date whoever, but if you have strong convictions, there is no way that you can come to an agreement with some who feels opposite of you.

i believe its precisely that, till they wrestle to impose their perspectives upon you. when you're both openminded and keen to study and settle for others' for who they're, then you are able to surely marry someone with different beliefs. Politics fantastically, i comprehend many couples who turn elections into video games with one yet another. see you later as you're not to any extent further out to ruin the different it may fit. when you're both fiercly aggressive than perhaps no longer. It purely relies upon on the couple. faith is harder, many faiths require you to marry interior of. My boyfriend and that i are different religions and we couldn't be any happier. we've reported how we can raise our youthful ones and worked issues out. lower back it relies upon on the couple. base line is being open minded and accepting. it may fit for some, yet no longer all and dissimilar.

No way. I'm a democratic socialist, and even middle-of-the-road-Democrats are too conservative for me. I'd never even consider sleeping with a Republican. It's bad enough having dinner with them.
If politics is important to you, this is something to consider. Mary Matalin and Jim Carville aside.

Yes. I don't really care about politics, but if I did, and she was arguing with me, I would just stick my DlCK in her mouth to shut her up. It has the same effect that a nipple does for a little baby.
