I dated my ex for a month but he was the one who ended it. He was sweet, caring and we had a very innocent relationship, it never went past kissing. While we were dating, I told him that I really wanted to see the classic love story movie "The Notebook" with him, but we never had a chance to see it together since he ended the relationship so soon. Before he dumped me he had told me that he had downloaded "The Notebook" movie on his labtop computer, but we never had a chance to see it together.

Neways, after he broke it off, he would still say hi to me on msn. One day, I put a picture of the couple from "The Notebook" as my msn pic. As soon as I logged in, he said hi to me and he said "hey, isn't that from the notebook" and I was like "yeah" and he said "oh, I still haven't seen that movie, it's been sitting on my computer" then I said to him "yeah, it's a good movie, you should see it."
Was he playing with my emotions?, or was he hinting to me that he wanted to see the movie with me?

Do you think he’ll just keep the movie on his computer? I doubt that he’ll ever ask me to see it with him, but If he ever sees it with another girl he’ll probably think of me right?

My ex made that remark about the movie awhile ago, but I have a feeling that he has still kept the movie on his computer.

I really don't think it means anything. Trust me, don't get your hopes up. If he dumped you, it means he doesn't want you. I went on an emotional roller coaster ride after being dumped the first time, telling myself maybe it was some tragic romantic reason, and maybe he really did love me, etc. etc. We got together again, then he tried to dump me again, cheated on me, etc., etc. Don't bother trying to look for silver lining in this. If someone dumps you, just move on. You'll have nothing but pain and heartache otherwise.

I haven't seen The Notebook yet, but I do like romantic movies. I think I'll check it out sometime.

Let it go, honey. It was only a month and he broke it off. He's not interested and the movie doesn't matter. You're making more of it than it is and need to free yourself and move on.

If he really has it on his comp and if he watches it with another girl, chances he is thinking of her. He probably watched a trailer and never downloaded it. Move on girl, stop losing time over this idiot.

sorry to burst your bubble of hope but if you never went past kissing and carelessly broke up with you he'll probably will think of how he could have watched the movie with you but will enjoy watching it with his current girlfriend better...

it sounds like he is just tormenting you to me because he has that movie that he knew you wanted to see, but never got to. i think he is saying hi to you to kind of tease you or torment you again because he knows you still like him. he is playing a lot of stupid mind games with you.
