Keep right except to pass, which allows faster vehicles to pass on your left. You are a lane sitter, one of the most abhorred individuals on the road. It is not up to you to regulate traffic speeds. Instead, what you are doing is being too lazy or too poor a driver to change lanes.
Yes, you should feel bad. You are one of the most dangerous parts of commuting, since other drivers must operate in your blind spot for so long to pass you. You are dangerous, making life for others dangerous. I hope the give you a ticket (you DO know it is against the law to impede traffic so they HAVE to pass you on the right, even if they are over the speed, right? And that YOU will be pulled over first, since their infraction is lower on the infraction scale than your infraction? And that you are the more dangerous of the 2 types of drivers, right? Automatic 2 points ... Beware.)

Yes it is wrong - why can't you stay at least one or two more lanes closer to the right? Do you not want to be behind someone who won't go as fast as you? It's the same way with us and then you are already in the "fastest" lane so we can't even go to the left to get around you.
In fact - in some states you can be pulled over by highway patrol because you are going slower in the fast lane than the other cars want to go and thereby not following the sign that says "slower traffic keep right" even if you are going 10 miles over the speed limit - you could potentially cause an accident because people will be forced to pass on the right - please get over

For starters, you should not be allowed to drive because you are an idiot. You are asking what the road rules are when you should have known them to get your licence in the first place. Futher, from reading the trash you typed, it appears that as you feel bad holding up traffic, you have been doing this for some time. You are a deadset dope and I applaude the people who are cutting you off because you deserve it. I just cannot believe it's taken this long for you to get the freaking message. Actually, I can....Following on from this, learn how to type a comprehensible sentence.
Going on from that, unless you are overtaking another car, keep the hell out of the left 'fast' lane. It is so simple you'd think that even a retard would be able to understand, but alas that is not always the case, as seen here.

If you're overtaking someone, feel free to use the left lane and screw anyone who insists on going even faster. However, if you are not overtaking anyone, get the hell back over to the right!
The universal rule is, "Keep right except to pass."
So, if you're cruising in the left lane, at any speed, you are in the wrong. And you can be ticketed even if you're not holding up traffic.
Hogging the left lane is one of the most dangerous practices on the highway, aside from driving drunk or talking on a cell phone.
If you pulled that stunt on a German autobahn, you'd risk taking a Porsche up the tailpipe, and you'd be responsible for the accident. If the Polizei caught you, you'd be arrested.
So, get your dumb @$$ over to the right lane and keep it there!

I think it is extremely inconsiderate of people who do not move over for someone that is obviously traveling at a faster rate of speed than them. That tired old justification of "well the speed limit is 65" blah, blah, blah is crap! If you are in the way of someone that safely chooses to drive faster than you, then for GOD'S SAKE move over! I also live in no. ca and am amazed at the increasing amount of self-righteous drivers that will not move for you! I happen to drive at a high rate of speed when the conditions allow me to and it truly irks me when I meet up with these inconsiderate slugs. It is really wrong for you to be doing anything else in the fast lane than driving fast.....so move over and drive between packs of cars...that will keep you just as safe from those merging vehicles and trucks and it won't piss other people off.

In my state, it's illegal to drive in the left lane unless you're passing someone, and people do get pulled over for it. Plus, making people pass you on the right could cause an accident, especially if the highway is congested.

Get out of the left lane. It is for people who are going FASTER than you to safely do just that.
Sure, in a perfect world where no one went very fast it wouldn't be a problem, but we know that some people are in more of a hurry than others. Do everyone a favor and stay out of their way.
This way, you are out of harm's way.

It is really a tough decision but you probably should try to keep up with the flow of traffic because you could start an accident by doing that so sorry for being scared but trust me you will get used to it.
