Well I know there's a Beverages & More in the Irvine area but if you check the site there is one in Canoga Park, Nothridge, Van Nuys, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Valencia, Pasadena, Torrence, Brea, and Huntington Beach.

Brigg's Wine & Spirits is one of the better wine/liquor stores in L.A. They offer vintage champagnes, hard to find items like Pimm's Cup and an excellent selection of wines.
Another good option is the Beverage Warehouse in Marina del Rey. The first time I went, I turned around without going inside because it looks like what it is, a beverage wholesaler. However, after a friend insisted, I went back and discovered a fairly well informed staff and again, a good selection of items that are not commonly available in L.A.
In both places, I've found wines and liquors that I usually only see when travelling abroad.
