At your age, 3 years is a HUGE difference. You're too young to know what you don't know yet, and your physical development is at a different stage than his. At your age, having a "boyfriend" should mean passing notes in the hall and holding hands at the movies.
You don't need a boyfriend at your age and are risking problems you don't have the skills and experience to deal with. You have an entire lifetime to be grown up and in relationships. Until then, slow down and get through being a teenager as healthy and happy as possible.

At 13 three years is a lot u really are to young to have a boyfriend and should really really really still be playing with dolls or a game of some kind.. U have plenty of time to enjoy having a boyfriend later on right now just enjoy your youth because that does not last long....

since you're only teenagers, that 3 years is a big gap...
plus, 13 is too young to have a boyfriend...enjoy your childhood. that's still what you are, a child.
in my case however, I'm 22 and my bf is 33 and 11 years does not seem like a big gap anymore.
but, if you think you can "handle" having a relationship at this age, and if you have the approval of your folks then go ahead and have a happy love life.... mwah!

I always dated older guys b/c I like guys that are mature but at 13 i would say 16 might be alittle too old...He could be great to hang out with but maybe not to date b/c sooner or later he will be 18 and if ur parents find out he can get in trouble...so i would have to say at ur age 3 year might be to much older!

Right now three years is a big difference. Ten years from now it will be nothing.
He is really too old for you now. Best to cool things down for now. But, who knows what the future holds. When I was your age I had a crush on a college guy. And I met him again when I was 18 and we dated then.
Give yourself some time to grow up

you are 13 years old and i cansee your uncle running him off, but not because they do not like him. they are protecting you from getting into something that will either make you are break you one day. and right now you are at the breaking age. but 3 years is not to old girls mature faster than boys that's another reason your family is keeping a watch out for your well being. but yet instill it may not be him that they should be running away from you it maybe the other way around. he may not be the aggressive one.

You even HAVING a BF at 13 is creeping me out. Drop the BF, and pick the Barbie back up. You have plenty of time for boys to ruin your life sugar, no sense starting early.

If you don't listen to your friends or your family who know you and care about you, are you going to listen any better to strangers on the internet? The fact that you're ignoring all these people who are looking out for you tells me that you're NOT mature enough to be dating a guy that is 3 years older.

At your ages, that's a big difference in ages.
A question would be why he is not interested in girls of his own age. A lot of times, when people are not comfortable - they go for someone younger that they can control/dominate. It may be in very subtle ways.
You need to establish your own clear "person" by learning things without someone guiding you like he probably is.
