Be careful..please realize what you are doing....you are testing him, and playing a game, without realizing it... when you say "I love you"...you are really asking ..Do you love me?.....or this is what he hears...You dont love me.... do you?...The way you are approaching your relationship is filled with insecurities, and its not good for you or him...One of the few things that drive a guy away from his girl..is the girl being needy, and insecure...Be confident..and dont go fishing for compliments...show him that you love him, and when you give a compliment, dont be asking for one back...just be genuine. Guys dont have the emotional hearts that girls have. They often dont express themselves through romantic words....but I bet he does do nice things for you...If he does, thats guy code for..he loves you.....

It may not be a reflection of how he feels; it may simply be a reflection of his willingness to be vulneralbe enough to express those feelings.
What does your heart say? If you are not fulfilled with the way he expresses his affection for you, it might be time to find the man ho not only feels it but can't wait to share it with you.
Best wishes.

Look, don't get mad when I say this, but if you harassed me about not saying I love you promptly enough, I would be just about done with you. Think about it, no one likes to be harassed about anything, let alone, silly things. Maybe you should try to have fun with your bf, and maybe he'll be more into you.

You must take the lead. Listen not to what he says. Just bully him into the position you want. Men are primal dorks. Ignore their words, which are the squirtings of an octopus, and lay down the law.

try not telling him for a while and see what happens...then when you do again, and he still hesitates, well, it might be cause for concern..

I think he is either being honest about his feelings, or is unable to express them to you. You know him better than any of us in cyberspace so it is up to you to figure which is true of him. Is he the type who can't express his feelings, or is he the type who is honest?
