She kept mentioning over a few weeks how she hugs many guys and basically everyone. Then, she asks me a few times if I would allow her. Then, she hugs me for a strange reason and apologizes later thinking she crossed my boundaries. When I said it was ok, she jokingly hugged me on AIM. What is up with this??

i think that's ok... she just wants to show her feelings for everyone... did you tell her how you feel and that you're worried about her? i guess people think of hugs as a sense of security, like everything will be ok... ask her whether there's anything up and advice her if she needs advice :)
