I never considered geting anyone Richard Simmons DVD's. I just wanted to see other peoples reactions. I don't understand why David Letterman invites him on his show. I think he's leading Richard on and Richard's hoping there's a chance David will end up liking him as more than a friend.

Yes. That is incredibly offensive. That is only a gift you give if someone says directly to you that is really what they want for christmas, and you aske them a second time if that is what they want you to get them. Otherwise, NO!!!

Hey, a gift is a gift is a gift! If you feel offended in any way, why not ask what the spirit was under which the gift was given? Are you in need of some additional exercise? Is it a not so subtle hint? I'm thinking the person who gave it to you really cares about you, and trusts that you won't be insulted.

I would be offended. It could only mean one of two things. 1) They are implying that I am fat. 2) It is an obvious regift and the person couldn't be bothered to go out and put some thought into my gift. However, as pissed off as I would be, I would accept it graciously, just as I would with any other gift I didn't like. It is the polite thing to do

Unless it was something I had wanted and mentioned before, yes, I would be offended. I think you could find a gift that doesn't say as much.....good luck.

If the person is overweight, then I would not get it for them. If they have mentioned something about a weight loss video, then that would be a good one.

If I was overweight yes...unless they specifically asked for it or like a gag gift.

Doesn't everyone love a good comedy?

Seriously you'd probably piss the person off.
