I'm not even an atheist and I get WAY tired of seing this one come up over and over and over.

Bottom line: BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE, and you aren't the Religion & Spirituality participation police.

This is an open forum titled Religion & Spirituality it is not titled "For Christians only all other ideas can bugger off" and people have a right as a human being to question and seek answers and therefore personal meaning for themselves.
This is not just for chistians to express their views but for all to learn from each other.
Where is the equality in a closed "open" forum. Do we not live in a free society? Or is that just another freedom we can't enjoy because you don't like freedom of expression, do you know what the term means? Do you realise at all the advantages you would deny our society as a result of your prejudice? How dare you deny our rights as human beings in a free society who are you to judge me? How dare you judge me...!! Am I not allowed to listen to others maybe even learn a little bit about them, perhaps reaching an understanding which would otherwise be lost through my ignorance of their insight, perhaps even find some meaning in my own life as a result of that interaction. I for one applaud others for their interest in this varied and undeniably confusing subject....
Listen, learn, evolve you closed minded moron..!!
A lot of people have died for your right of free expression, so allow others the same freedom you yourself enjoy.
I for one am a Buddhist and am quite happy to listen to the free flow of thought from other people, open your mind, the world may not be flat but you might find it interesting and refreshing that other people question what they are told so that ideas are NOT stifled and that issues are discussed openly from all sides...

The belief in God is annate in mankind! I believe its been that way, since God breathed into man, the breath of life and man became a living soul. Man can dispute a belief in God. But, man was created a tri-partitte being, having Body, Soul and Spirit, in one "man"kind. It's the triunity or trinity of mans existance.
And it was the spirit of man, that was the communication link between him and God. It's just at the fall of man, that communication link was severed. However, in Jesus and his Cross, that communication link is restablished, to a believer.
Atheists do more in trying to prove God doesnt exist, than accepting what "they believe" that he doesnt!

The plan of the illuminati is to stage a worldwide conflict between the atheists and those who call themselves christian but are in fact not, but the atheists think they are, so they beat the air until they're tuckered out...both of the groups...and when they're too tired to fight anymore then the antichrist comes on the scene and tells them to hold hands and kiss and make up and that's how the one world religion is formed. But here's the thing, Jesus Christ is coming back! Their plan for world domination won't succeed because it's godless. God won't allow it to succeed because he is God. This is the section in which religion and spirituality related queries may be posted and, therefore, where people can come to post their metaphysical views and interpretations, etc. Who says an atheist doesn't have just as much to say about the religious and spiritual than do believers in any certain faith?
Yes. People can, in fact, discuss at great length things they don't believe exist in reality. See: movies section, discussions regarding fictional characters.

I firmly believe in God but I think the reason that an atheist may be on a Religion Q/A forum is that they are looking for truth. It is not our job to judge them for asking religous questions or making statements. It is our duty to help them see that God is real and that Christ is the answer to their search.
Luke 11:10
"For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
Hebrews 11:6
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
So, please, never discourage someone from seeking.

Because everyone thinks their ideas are better then everyone elses. This includes religious folk and the atheists. But that's what people are here to discuss.
