HI I KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN GIVERN A LOT OF ADVISE BUT I WORKED AT WAGON WHEELS IN PARRAMATTA FOR SOME TIME AND SIGNING WARRANTY PAPERS MEANS NOTHING ALL THEY WERE DOING BY THE SOUNDS OF IT WAS SAVING TIME JUST IN CASE THE LOAN WAS APPROVED. YOUR INSURANCE SIMPLE JUST TRANSFER IT BACK FROM YOUR INSURER . AS FOR YOUR DEPOSIT IF YOU PAID BY CHQ YOU WILL HAVE YOUR CHQ BUT AS PROOF. IF YOU USED CASH YOUR BANK WILL HAVE A COPY OF YOUR STATEMENT PUT A STOP ON ALL PAYMENTS. TELL THEM UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATIONS ACT THEY ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO GIVE YOU A COPY OF ALL DOCUMENTS YOU SIGNED AND IF THEY DONT SAY NOTHING EXCEPT THIS I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT AND WATCH THEM JUMP DO NOT LISTERN TO ANY THING THEY SAY AFTER YOU HAVE SAID THIS JUST WALK OUT THE DOOR AND GO STRAIGHT TO A CHAMBER OF MAGISTRATE IN YOUR LOCAL COURT HOUSE AND TELL HIM THE STORY PS AFTER YOU STOP THE CHQ. HOPE THIS HELPS PSS DO NOT LET THEM MAIL OUT THE CONTRACTS

What dealership are you working with, is it a Chevy Ford place or more like Joe's Auto Palace?

You were robbed essentially. Put a stop payment on the deposit check and by LAW they cannot hold your money.

Not to mention that nothing with insurance or anything else paperwork wise is supposed to go through until you are approved. The first thing ANY reputable dealer does is confirm the sale, take a deposit, you fill out the credit app and it is run. If it comes back no good, then they either work something out with another creditor or you get your deposit back and leave. Nothing further should ever be done until those few steps are taken care of.

Never go buying a car alone if you are unaware of the process as they will hurry you along through it and you will end up being bent over big time. You can do a few things here;

1) Call the police and report a theft, then they will show up and you will get your money back since you are not approved.

2) Talk directly to the owner of the dealer, not the general manager, the owner and set things straight.

3) egg every car in their lot and slash all tires.

When the dealership ran your credit history, they assumed you would be financed with their lending institutions. It turns out that you were denied credit by the banks, therefore that kills the deal. you should get back your down payment, although it sounds like you had the new car for a few days and the dealer is charging for the time out and mileage...If your check has not yet cleared the bank, you can always put a stop payment on it...Call your states dealer board if there are continuing problems. Good luck

I think you need to talk to the dealership manager/owner. If nothing else he can get you back in the same shape you were in before you delt with the salespeople.
