Rotti's don't fully mature for 2 yrs. My last female took about 3-4 before she would stand at the gate with the "rottie glare"

I think they're all different. We had 2 German Shepherd puppies and at 2 months, my neighbor was making noise bringing her trash can in from the street. One of the Shepherds ran to our porch and hid behind a flower pot. The other ran out to our driveway and barked at her. You should probably take her for walks and let her see the neighborhood and get used to more people. Don't isolate her.

i have a boxer, and nobody can get through my door...but once they are inside i can bring her out or let her go, and she is fine. she did this since she was four months old. if she isn't showing them already then she probably won't. my next door neighbor has a german shepard and he started around 6 months. even if she hasn't been around people then it should show, but, it may not. all depends on the personality of the dog.

I can't believe you WANT your dog to be AGGRESSIVE. Most all dogs will be naturally protective of their owners and family, but aggessive is a complete flaw for this breed and won't happen. Even an abused dog will not always become this way. They often become FEARFUL of humans due to the abuse and run scared instead.

each dog starts to identify these instincts at different ages. your puppy is still in its teenage years, it needs to grow into an adult before these become fully evident. it could take years or it could be a few months, it just depends on your pups traits and personality.

Sometimes they are lovers, not fighters.
But usually 6 months to a year.
Sometimes longer.

when someone tries to hurt you.
they do not need to be trained for this. they are protective, not territorial. unless you are mean to the dog, it will not naturally be hostile to people.
but a rottweiler that has been treated well will protect her people.
