well if you have ethnic hair you may consider a perm, or "relaxer" If done by a professional its safe, I WOULD NOT RECOMEND DOING IT YOUR SELF.
option 2 get a flat iron, hot tools is a good brand. I perfer the wide ones. You also want to use a shampoo for getting your hair straight. matrix sleek look is very good. While your hair is still wet redken str8 is AWESOME, blow dry, and then follow up with an oil sheen spray for high heat flat irons, biosilk shine on is wonderful. If you use the products before you flat iron it will protect your hair from getting too damaged.

I too have the dreaded curly hair curse. The only thing that's ever worked on my hair is having my friend use her hair straightener, but it hurts like crazy!!! Some salons have new ionic straighting perms that are supposed to be really good and ok on your hair health

i have curly hair too...if your hair is anything like mine, using a flat iron only keeps it straight for half the day. my aunt bought me a brush that straightens as i blow dry my hair, and it worked even better than the flat iron. while my hair is still wet, i work some serum into it, and it comes out smooth and shiny all day long! and its better than a perm, because you decide when your hair is curly! could be straight one day, could be curly the next. good luck!

I have very frizzy wavy hair what i have been using for years is a hair straightening iron it doesn't take long at all well depending on your hair length. Make sure to use something afterwards to smooth everything out thats what i do.

Use a flat iron.

I have hair with a slight wave in it that frizzes like Crazy. I use a flat iron combined with a few smoothing serums and a heat protectant. My hair has never been healthier.

Just use a flat iron straightener... just don't use it all the time and it will work great! also try a straighting shampoo and hair cream... that might also work for you.

i used perm solution and comb it straight and leave it in what every time they said to on the box then u have nice permanent straight not burn hairs. repeat if necessary but wait for at lease a couple weeks. try to not use condition it will dry your hairs. just wash and go. not washing a day is good too.

wash then rinse, condition right after shampooing and leave it in until you are about to exit then rinse it with cold water so it gives you a glow(it does it to mine...) then either air dry it or blow dry it, but straighten it with a ceramic straightner...blow dyers leave it really poofy. The straightner shouldn't damage your hair but it will give you spilt ends if you use it often...
