The other day, I saw an interview with Dr. Oz who said that when selecting a cereal, you should look at the ingredients.

If sugar is one of the first 5 ingredients, the cereal is no good.

When I went to the grocery store, I could not find one cereal that I enjoy which meets this criteria.

Would anyone know of a cereal that is low on the sugar?

A good cereal low on sugar high on fiber is Special K, may not sound too appealing but add some fruit and its a great breakfast to hold you over until lunch.

Shredded wheat. Instant or old fashioned oatmeal.

Of course these only work if you're going to eat them without adding sugar, which is something I could never do.
