People are always fighting over something. Religion is just something they use as an excuse for their own behavior.

Yes. Peace would be a good thing.

However, islam is a very violent and hate-filled belief system that not only advocates, but requires deadly violence against any who they believe to be infidel (unbeliever). Since islam rejects/denies the divine nature of Jesus, Son of the one true God, then it places itself in opposition to Christianity. Couple this opposition with islam's inherent violence and hatred, conflict is inevitable. You can't pursue peace by trying to sidestep/avoid an intolerant bully.

Too many mutually contradictory things are being said by too many muslims to have any credibility. Remember: ACTIONS speak louder and more clearly than WORDS. The ACTIONS of islam are violence, hatred, intolerance, and evil.

There will never be peace between them. It even says in Genisis that that Ishmael would always be at war with his brother. Now that the christians are grafted into the family with the Jews they are in the war too. The only thing that will end this war is the return of Jesus.

I agree with Guru. Also you don't really hear Christian holy men (and women) advocating war. But many of the Islamic holy men tell their people to wage war against us. Perhaps the only answer is that the peace loving Muslims need to work within their own society and return their religion to one of peace and teach this to their young people, the young men especially.

People want control not peace. What I don't get is why anyone cares what "I" believe. I figure if everyone would just take care of themselves and not force their beliefs on others we would all be more peaceful. I don't care what the Muslims or Jews or Christians believe. My only concern is my relationship with God not yours.

Know that Extremists have left the teaching of the Prophet and follow their own desires! Suicide is FORBIDDEN, any who commits suicide is denied heaven, that means HELL! Killing women and children, the Prophet forbade that!

Don't judge as Muslims by a small minority, I know that its hard when you see the images constantly on TV, but I assure you I live to submit to God.

Really, many of the "Christian troops" believe they are defending poor Iraqis from criminals who only associate themselves with a religious community for political gain. Right?

I want Christians to stop worshiping Jesus, and worship God like Jesus did

'Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.' (Qur'an 5:72)
