You asked this earlier and I answered it earlier. I will try a new answer...

I use the faith card when my son is kicking my butt at go fish and I need to get a match right then...oh yeah faith card, not wild card.

1) If I have a question I cannot answer I will look it up until I have a satisfactory answer to give. I will be up front and tell you at the start that I do not know and will get back to you.

2) Everything in the bible makes sense to me and so that does not apply

3)I never lost a debate with an atheist as most of them do not truly wish to debate...more like sling mud and insults. The ones who are intelligent enough to debate i speak to on an email basis with mutual respect.

4)There is nothing stupid about my belief and you just proved answer 3.

5) You said almost impossible ( sounds a bit fishy from an atheist...hmmm) anyway, he does, has and always will exist.

1. No, when this happens I usually spend more time studying it as well as cross referencing to get a better understanding until I know the answer to their question. There are few times this has occurred.

2. This question is no different than the first one. The only real difference is where the source of the question comes from meaning did it come from an outside source or from within. Again I handle it by studying it more until I get an understanding.

3. Haven't been in one of those yet, nor have I seen one unless the atheist is specifically targeting someone who may not be very knowledgeable in the bible. I think there are often misinterpreted circumstances as to who is losing the debate. I see a lot of times an atheist who is unwilling to concede that which is painfully obvious and logical and rational or they automatically try to invalidate anything a "God believer" says because he/she is a theist. So what I have seen often times is an Atheist claim victory when there was none.

4. Again I have yet to see someone bring to me evidence of something "totally stupid" about my belief. I have seen a lot of people attempt this using misinterpretation and misinformation.

5. Again I have never come across any critical thinking that makes God impossible to exist. If you think you have something please attempt to show me. What I see are a lot of Christians who unfortunately buy into the notion that if someone is an atheist they are automatically backed by logic and reason that cannot be counteracted and are therefore intimidated by atheists, but if they give themselves a chance, do some research I think they will find it nothing more than mere meandering that is surrounded by nothing more than an intellectual smokescreen. I used to be one of those intimidated by atheists because of that exact line of thinking, then I spent some time listening to them and their arguments as well as spending time on here and I have never felt intimidated again.

I guess about the only time my "faith card" comes in is when I look to Jesus for my salvation because it is never needed for proof of God's existence nor is it needed in realizing why I need to have faith in Jesus and the necessity of His sacrifice. Proof of God's existence and the need for salvation can all be easily done through logic and reasoning, but to those who do not believe in God they will not see the things of God so any logic and reasoning for something that they do not believe in will seem foolish to them.

Darn it, BA, I use the "Faith" card all the time.
When I have no clue what the answer is, I say, "God knows."
When I come across something that makes no sense, I say, "God knows"
When I'm losing a debate, I say "Go to hell"
When I realize something totally stupid about my belief...well, I actually haven't found that out yet. I kind of like my belief, but if I did, I'd probably ask my guardian angel for advice, then go into the wilderness for 40 days.
When I come across critical thinking, I just say, "Lord have mercy!"

I'm not sure that I necessarily view it as the "faith card". I have many atheist friends, but am a believer myself. However, being in one of the more liberal denominations, there's not as much pressure on me to "prove" certain aspects of belief (for instance, I'm not sure that anybody in my church is actually a Biblical literalist, so I'm not out to attempt proving points via Scripture alone, particularly if speaking to non-believers). But faith is admittedly the point where spiritual belief diverts from atheism. There are some things I experientially "know" or "sense" via faith, and an atheist doesn't have (or claim validity in) this knowledge. And that's okay. I have faith; the atheists don't. I don't pull it out as a parlor trick to "win" unwinnable, circuitous debates. Faith is a quiet and personal thing.

I'm a youth Sunday school teacher. I would considering praying about the situation, after all we should pray without ceasing. I would also take with another believer. They might have some scriptures or ideas that has helped them with the same situations. I would too take with the pastor and read the bible to find answers that best fits your style. God Bless You and continue with this. God knows how you feel about everything all the time.

It takes more faith for you to believe that there is no GOD than it does for us to know that there is one. When does your "faith" card come into play?
1. when you look around yourself at all the beauty of nature(and try to deny GOD)
2.When you are confronted by the miracle of life(and try to deny GOD)
3.When you are alone and really scared of or for something and you hope there is "someone" watching out for you(and try to deny GOD.
4.When you feel HIM tugging on your heart (and try to still deny HIM)
5.When someone you love is in dire need of something that man cannot do for them (and you try to deny HIM)
6.When that empty place inside you cannot be filled by hate,money,sex,power,drugs,alcohol,etc.etc. etc.(and you try to deny HIM)
7. The worst thing is not just that you try to deny HIM but that ,because of this, HE will deny you.
8.your faith card must be the most precious thing to you because if you were to loose it then you would have to rely on SOMEONE you have been trying so hard to deny.
Burn your faith card. GOD is REAL! Christ is coming back SOON and HE wants to take you with HIM.

I'm a god believer specifically the God of the cosmos as described by Buddhism. I require no faith and none is dispensed
to me, for I am expected to use my mind and intelligence to find
the path to freedom and enlightenment. God does not allow that
I give harm or ill will to anything or anyone and I am expected to
seek with absolute certainty the truth of Gods existence. Through
deep and powerful meditative experience I have proved to me the
undeniable truth of God that may never be ripped from my heart or mind.

I believe in God, but i don't believe in faith. You don't have to have faith to answer questions about God.

6. When everything goes wrong and you want to die, you play the "faith card" and won't kill yourself. Even if it goes even worst, you still put that card on the table. Faith that things will go better.
