Use a pint jar. Some of them have measures on the side. 1/2 of a pint jar will work.

There are 8 oz. in a cup, so an 8 oz. juice glass, wine glass or anything that is 8 oz.

an eight ounce yogurt cup works great. Fill it as full as it was filled with yogurt.
