i have sent a letter by airmail and would like to send a parcel to athens but i want it to get there before xmas

It would help if we knew where you were sending it from.. I would say though up to a week for a letter and about 10 days for a parcel

i hope you have already send your mail ? you are talking about Athens ....as in Greece ? with the holidays and all the mail , it is delayed mostly because of the amount of Christmas cards .
i have just send something the other way around .it took 5 days
letters do not go parcel anymore .it is all treated first class ....../ same price ............

Use someone like DHL or UPS if you want to get your parcel there before Christmas,,use Royal Mail and it might not ever get there
