I am unsure of how this works out first off do you have to be 18 to have a car in your name or do you have to have a parent or guardian sigh as well? Do you need to have a licences at the time of your name being put as title owner ? Do you need insurence be for you can get the title or when you get it you can it and list the car as unactive?

i own a repair shop, and this all depends on what state you live in,,each state has different laws on the matter but in most states you do have to be 18,but you don't have to show proof of insurance to buy it,,and you don't need a co- signer on it if your over 18,,but thats usually the way the laws go ,,and most states the law is close in the way they are enforced,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
