All subscription services which encode music using some form of DRM (digital rights management) will restrict the type of devices you can put your music on. I don't believe at this time there are any services aimed at a monthly fee ipod. Due to the capacity of 80 gig on some ipods with unlimited downloads it wouldn't be viable if users wanted to download new music ever day for there ipod.

Check around, they may be out there, but I do believe most that would work with an ipod are price per song.

Some MySpace music sites allow you to download the songs posted on them.

... LIMEWIRE! Don't pay AT ALL. Free songs... just download Limewire... http://www.limewire.com/

Otherwise, search for other P2P networks like Bearshare, Frostwire, Ares...

This question has been asked a billion and one times. *sigh*
