Hey peoples,
I have thick, long, curly, frizzy hair when its wet. When I straighten it, its nice and straight. Bothways I have no styles to do with it. Help me and give me some nice, simple, cute, hairstyles for either wet or dry hair.

There is a lot you can do and easy ways to maintain it.
There is a book that is roughly $10 and is worth so much more. Besides the styles (which there are many for different lengths & types) and care/maintenance stuff, there are home remedies that you can make easily, for not too much money. The book is "Curly Girl" (Paperback) by Lorraine Massey, Deborah Chiel. If you go to Amazon and look up the title it will give more info and you can look at a few of the pages. I love, live by, and highly recomend this book.
Though it emphasiszes not straightening or blowing out your hair, there is valuable information, even if you don't agree with the author's opinions.
Also a friend (who is also a curly girl) looked up a few sites for more info. I listed a couple, though i am sure there are more. There is more info out now than there was even 5-10 years.

Well there is a style i know coz i have the same problem my hair is curly too, when icoodnt b botherd with my hair out or it's hot, i put my hair into a ponytail twist it once and tie the bottom of the ponytail (closer to your scalp) and leave your ong curly locks go wild its hard to explain but i hpe u understand

I have the same problem...curse the curl!! lol...anywho, I just got my hair cut in a "sling bob" and it worked wonders! When it's in it's natural state, it falls right into place. And when I straighten it, it looks like everyone elses' hip little do! Also, when I straighten it I use "Flat Out" for ceramic straighteners...that product is amazing for curly people.

i really like your hair the way in which it's! I have curly hair and I hate it. your curly hair within the first % is the ultimate period and curl!!! You are blessed, dont do whatever to it.
