You can't sell your soul to the Devil. We ARE souls. Genesis 2:7 says that when God made Adam he came to BE a living soul. Demonic possession can occur if a person has items that could be considered demonistic, magic, or spiritistic in their house. Playing with oija boards, reading tarot cards, etc. can set a person up to be harassed by demons. At Acts 19:18 the Christian converts from Ephesus burned their magic items even though the material value of the items was great. They were blessed for their loyalty to the one true God Jehovah, whose friendship it is imperative to gain in order to conquer demons.

Demonic possession is a real thing. I don't think of selling our souls to the Devil in the same regard TV does; its really far more subtle. All you have to do is disregard the commandments and sin. In this way you sell your soul to the devil. The way to get your soul back is to repent. Normally this involves feeling true sorrow for what you've done, stop sinning, fix whatever damage you have done, and then pray for forgiveness. A simple prayer isn't going to do you a lick of good; its in what you DO!
And remember, the possession of your soul is nnot a neutral thing. No matter what it will not be yours, it can only belong to God or the devil; so if I were you I'd offer it to God.

Yes I believe in demonic possession. I believe my sister is possessed. I am not sure about the whole selling your soul to the devil. I suppose it could happen but you certainly cannot get it back if you did...he would not make a loophole for you to change your mind from.

Yes there is demonic possession. A person can't sell their soul to the devil. He makes them think they can, but all they have to do is ask Jesus in your heart, and he looses out on the soul. Get the book He Came to Set the Captives Free. It is a true story about a women who was possessed.

Demonic Possession? sure I believe in Possession. weather it's demonic or not is kind of another question. For example in some countries they actually encourage possession and allow spirits to "ride" them. take the Loa, for example. As for if you can sell your soul? well, The answer is no. It already belongs to god.

A Devil would certainly love this question. It suggests a belief that there is some powerful entity that can separate a person from God.
To deny God is a personal choice. To believe is a personal choice.

NO!
What was once considered "possession" is what we now know to be mental and physical illness. Imagine living 5000 years ago and encountering someone with tourettes syndrome or epilepsy. Or having fever-induced hallucinations. It would have been very frightening and you would not have known anything about the causes of such things. People tended to attribute them to evil spirits.

Supernatural beings, be they jinn/demons, angels or what have you, are no more than fairy stories. They are concepts that evolved over the course of human history in an attempt to explain events we don't comprehend and have never been supported by any sort of empirical evidence.

I've thought about it, and i don't think God would ever allow someone to do such a thing just by saying it. I think they would have to be a sinner, and a non-Christian to begin with. I doubt God would ever let you do something that would be against your well-being, such as soul-selling, or even renting/leasing your soul.
