Well first of All thank you for asking me about my faith, which your name indicates that you have left due to your experiences with it. First of all let me pick out the statement in your question i.e.: Most of the sooras (quranic chapters) and Hadith(prophetic traditions) are lies.

First of all, Islam has a strong root which is "There is no God but [The one and only God] Allah". Now, if you really believe this than everything else will grow in the Islamic tree, but if you don't believe this Then he plant that grows will be different than Islam. The plan refers to your values/convictions or religion.

I and many Muslims believe in One and Only God. And that the God is all powerful and all wise. Therefore his book is also complete. Now literalism is a problem when you are quoting or reading some Quranic verses and making your on conviction based on what You understand, but you must see how the Prophet taught those verses and how the early companions practiced them. But here I think you refer to taking Quran as a book for all times as literalism. And I think that literalism is great. That is the basis of our root which says there is one God the all knowing the All wise. Therefore first focus on the root and then focus on other things and if you can't comprehend something initially don't come up with personal opinion, leave it aside for a time and keep asking different scholars and keep researching. Also ask Allah/God for guidance and Inshallah he will deliver you to the truth.
