I just started boxing. I have been at it for a couple of days now through a public gym. I have a trainer who is really expierienced and knows what he is doing. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on some things i could do to better my conditioning and my physique for boxing?

run and run it helps stamina i used to shadowbox while i ran (not right on the streets). my old coach made me hit the bag an hour or two with just my left till i got my jab down with speed. then work on the right hook. with just those two strikes you impress him.

don't get discouraged if you get whooped the first spars. experience will shine thru.

You shouldn't ask for any advice outside of your Trainer, he/she will be able to help you with any questions you might have after all, he/she knows you and has been working with you, your Trainer knows your strengths and weaknesses.
