I was sick at the end of novemeber and took a couple of days of work. Now I'm sick again (worse than before) but I'm afraid to call in bc I feel that my boss won't believe me. How uncommon is it for you to get sick 2 weeks after you get over a cold?

Very common. You didn't get rid of the first illness completely; so you stressed yourself out going back to work and spreading your germs everywhere to everyone. Then, honey, you relapsed because your immunity was low. Now, this time....do everyone a favor, including yourself, and get well before going back to work. Godloveya.

Your immunity has been lowered due to the cold so getting sick again isn't unusual. If you're not already taking it, start taking Vitamin C supplement. Just keep taking it throughout the winter because it will help boost your immune system. My aunt, who is a doctor, also recommends echinacia.

Not that uncommon...you may have not been over the first cold only thought you were or the first cold had you weakened causing you to get the second one.

It's not. I can vouch for this as every time the weather changes about 10 degrees I get sick. I'm not use to the constant changing of temperatures so it hits me pretty hard every time.
