Carving yourself a nice behing can be very difficult but it also very rewarding. It can really make a woman's figure. There is nothing cute about having a flat butt so power to you for wanting to do something about it.

In order to work your buttock muscles you need to isolate them to a certain degree. The first method I will teach you is called pre-exhaustion......

Do a light then medium warm up on the leg press machine (mimics the squat exercise), finish by doing one or two reps on a nice heavy weight and then leave the machine as it is.
Now move over to the leg extensions machine, this isolates the quadriceps (front thigh muscles) select a heavy weight and do as many reps as you can until complete exhaustion. This should be no more than ten reps. Remember to eliminate any possibility of momentum by lifting the weight slowly over 4 seconds, holding it elevated for a couple and then loweringit slowly over four. Once at exhaustian go straight back to the leg press without breaking.

Place your feet a little more than shoulder width apart at the top of the plate. Let the balls of your feet go over the edge of the plate so that they don't carry any weight. The seat should be positioned so that your knees are tight up into your chest to get the maximum buttock extension. Now lift the weight using the same slow mechanism.

Because your thighs are already exhausted, your backside will perform the majority of this exercise. Remember to perform this to complete exhaustion. One set only. It will burn like the dickens but it will release your growth mechanism.

Now go home and grow....eat well, regularly and balanced. You will build a nice rounded backside.

Other exercise that are very good for working the back side are reverse lunges, deadlifts and squats when pushing up off your heels. Google all of these for more information.

try not to make the mistake of over training your butt because if you do it won't go. Doing 10 or 15 sets in the gym is counter productive unless you are on steroids. Doing one or two sets (plus warm up) to complete failure is much more productive but you have to take it to total failure. This is hard work but it means you spend much less time in the gym and will see better results.
