You just tell him. I know, I know, how simple. But really, you just sit him down without distractions and tell him straight. No drama or psycho babble, just plain straight "I like you" stuff and see where it goes. We guys do enjoy the straight scoop without having to decode it and all.
And don't corner him. Just say "I like you" and let him react.

Just walk up to him and start talking and then when you guys are done with your conversation say hey by the way I Like you.... That way you know for sure if he likes you an you do not have to wonder,
