She doesn't know how to be happy. I want to make her happy, and I want her to be happy no matter if it's with another guy. I respect her and treat her well. She told me she felt something for me but, needless to say, it didn't quite work out the way I planned. So this is what I ask for. How do I win her over? I care about her deeply. We have a very strong friendship that can't be broken, no matter what. Answers here would be greatly appreciated.

Try sharing her interests with her.If she has certain hobbies ask her about them when you are together.Talk to her and really listen to what she says,ask her any questions you have(not about the 2 of you,but in general) and listen to her response.Women love to know that you value their opinions and judgment.Make her laugh,humor for most women is a big turn on.Always be there for her if she needs someone.Above all else,be yourself and be confident.Hope this helps,best of luck.

Why don't you invite her out on a date to take a break from her studies - between exams and then tell her. You don't want to throw her for a loop if her head is only in the books, but if you think she can handle it then tell her in your own special way.

You just need to step back and let her discover how to be happy on her own. True happiness can only be real if we discover it for ourselves. If you're patient, stay by her side no matter what choices she makes, if you never put her choices down, that will win her over. It's just a matter of time, babe.

You have to go back to being the best friend. Be there for her no matter what and hope that she turns to you when she needs someone. It's a difficult road.

sounds to me like this is about you.. not her.
sounds like she was trying to let you down gently, b/c she cares about you.
sounds like you need to get it into your head that she does not want to be w/ you and that your job is not to be her superhero in this case.
