i don't have one yet, but i have a pug and i got a shar-pei just for the reason that i like to breed to get an ori-pei ... i saw pictures of them, did some research on the health factors and behaviour ... i'm quite exited for the time to come for them to breed ... except for one thing ... the height of a shar-pei compared to the pug is quite a big problem ... the pug (male) can't reach the pei (female) ... ;(

Please do your research on this combination. Shar Pei's notoriously have loads of health problems (skin conditions primarily that can be expensive and difficult to treat) and Pugs have a lot of issues with breathing problems. This combination just makes me cringe with fear that you might be getting into something you didn't bargain for.
Don't buy for a cute look or a fashionable name. These combinations are highly erratic and you don't always get what you think you are getting.

It HAS to be something created by VETS!!!!!! Shar peis top the list as the vets dream due to their NUMEROUS health problems!!! Pug s have their share too!!!!
