Contradications: http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/contra/by_name.html
And there's more than just those, but you have to read carefully to find them. False predictions from Isaiah are my favorite.
What's the "word"?
The abortion, homosexuality, and prayer debates are pretty extensive, so there's no easy answer here.
Abortion: There's a lot more going on than just saving zygotes. Just remember it's not about when life begins (both sperm and egg are alive... you can't just mix them and get babies if they're dead). It's a legal battle -- when does the right to life begin?
Homosexuality -- Not sure what the problem is here. If you're not in favor of gay marriage, don't have one! But it's wrong to deny the civic benefits of matriomony to someone based on sexual orientation. It's discrimination just like any other kind.
Prayer in schools? Prayer is allowed in schools, so don't believe any hype. If any Christian was denied the right to pray in a school, they could probably be represented by the ACLU and sue the school. What ISN'T allowed is forced or coerced prayer. Meaning if the teacher tries to lead the class in a Wiccan chant, that's unnacceptable. Ditto for anything like Hail to Jesus.

So you know, do you? You do not know what they are, but you know? Could you be any more ignorant? Not to offend you, but you opened this can of worms. There are no contradictions in the Bible. Sorry to bust your little bubble. Each and every verse in the Word edifies and supports each and every other verse. This is proof positive of the Word being that of God! Two men living in the same time together could not agree on what happened two weeks ago, let alone what happened two thousand years ago, or what will happen, for that matter. Things told about all those years ago that would happen ARE happening! How can you doubt that? Are you that obtuse? Or is it that you took a stand against God to be the 'bad boy', and just listen to the atheist typical crap, and believe it no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary? Oh well, the Word also says that there are those that were born to be unbelievers. Maybe that's you. As far as abortion being against God, do you actually believe that killing children before they are born is right? If you are that cold, I feel sorry for anyone that ever gets close to you. The Bible says that homosexuality is an abomination. That means what it says. Prayer is still being practiced in schools by students that are taking a stand against the atheist fundamentalists by turning the tables, and exercising their first amendment right to pray, regardless of where they are. I applaud them! You are fighting a losing battle. How does that feel?

Well if you are wondering about abortion religion does have a good argument but so do pro-abortionists. If you ever get the opportunity read the book "Freakanomics" by Steven Levit. It is a nonfiction book that discusses some of the weird connections in society. His end point talks about aborting and he lets the reader connect the entire book to the last chapter referring to abortion. He gives factual evidence that there was a drastic crime rate drop during the early 1990's. He makes the connection to the abortion case about 20 years ago that made abortions legal in America. His point is that the crime rate dropped at approximately the same time that many of those children would grow up to that age where they might commit a crime. To describe the book doesn't do it justice because every chapter has deeper meaning then their titles could revel.

If god is against abortion, why do 80% of implanted embryos naturally get expelled from the body anyway? That's 80% of potential babies gone. Must have been gods plan, right? And how about that part in the bible where god kills all the firstborn of egypt? That had to include a lot of babies - apparently, god doesn't put a high price on babies.
Kids can pray in schools. Just not during class or on the loudspeaker. That time is set aside for learning. You have another 18 hours in the day you can spend praying if you really want to.

There are no contradictions in the Bible. It is written in eyewitness form. If you seen a wreck and other people did also, you would all have a different story on what happen even though you all seen the same thing. That is what the Bible is all about. The Bible is not put in time line order. I have studied it, and they put the books in the way they fall. God does not want us to go out and kill intentionally, and that is what abortion is all about. It is murder. God made man and woman not man and man or woman and woman. Read Romans1:26-27, and 1 Timothy 1:10. If we had prayer in school we would have God there to help our children. When prayer went out violence came in.

There are no contradictions in the BIBLE, not one!Homosexuality is wrong, it says so in the BIBLE, and it is common sense that it is wrong. Abortion is wrong, it is murder. How can people think it is not, when you are dismembering a baby, and thats what it is from the moment of conception. The mother and father ot that baby are human beings right? well then tha would make the baby growing inside a human mother a human baby, not an alien or a dog, or a fish! Prayer in school would be great, maybe we wouldnt have so many killings going on at schools.

If the Bible is the inspired word of God, who cannot lie, then there no contradictions! Just because someone cannot understand something in it doesn't make the book untrue. I guarantee that every so-called contradiction is just a reader's misinterpretation.

as for the abortion debate. provide the right wing Christian with the verse below so they will see that their god isn't opposed to abortion but, in fact, prescribes abortion as a means to determine the guilt of a woman accused of adultery and as a punishment if she is.
Num 5:27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, [that], if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, [and become] bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

1 Kings 7:23
And he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and the height thereof was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
The "sea" is a large metal bowl. The "round in compass" suggests a circle. The thirty cubits is the circumference. The ten cubits is the diameter. The formula we learned in school is Circumference = π times Diameter. Here, Circumference / Diameter = 30 / 10 = 3, which suggests the Bible says pi equals 3.

Light is itself a contradiction: we will have no computer if darkness does not attach to light.
Man cannot blindly chooses light or darkness, but he must wisely use both of them.
As for wisdom, we must learn it from the Messengers of the One True God.
