Resistance (ohms) only matters for the type of amp used. Whether it's 1, 2 or 4 ohm stable. The lower the ohm, the harder an amp has to work and the more distortion is introduced. The watts RMS of BOTH amp and sub(s) must match as well as the ohms per channel.

The amp will need to be 1500 watts RMS at whatever ohms you can find it stable. For instance, the Hifonics:

BXi 1606D
1600-Watt x 1 RMS @ 1-Ohm

is close to the 1500 watts at 1 ohm.

There are many choices with this box. You just have to find the right amp to power the subs.

Man that's a bad (good) system. You should check out rockford fosgate.com and orion.com and see what amp you can afford, then you can decide what resistance configuration best suits your budget.
