I think 14 can go up to 16, 16 can go up to 19. I think middle schools should be 7th, 8th and 9th grades---those kids are more alike than 9th graders are like 10th graders.

14-19 is not quite the same as, say 19-24. The 19 year old may be mature enough to understand the relationship but the 14 year old is not.

Anything that's legal. So if one person's over 18 and the other is under. Its a no go.
The thing about statutory rape is that its not a personal charge, its a federal one which means anyone can press the charges. If you're in that kind of relationship, all you have to do is piss off one classmate and boom. A call to the cops and you're in handcuffs and a registered sex offender for the rest of your life (whether you actually had sex or not).

Honey each year from 12-20 is dramatically different from each year to year. I never recommend dating too seriously until over 20, since you have to "know" who you are before you invite another to share you life.
I highly recommend you keep a personal journal (not an on line blog) its for your eyes only and write it all out for yourself.
You will take the time to read it all later in life and you will be amazed by your own wisdom and personal growth.
