+ Trader Joe's is the original home of Combat Full contact COED shopping. Just watch out for the carts and getting caught between two and the last piece of an item that is on sale.

I love it. I do a large part of my grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, which is easy because there are six stores within a 5 mile radius of my house. Their prices are the best around. I just wish they were open 24 hours!

I love Trader Joe's. Good stuff. I am a meat lover and not an organic, vegetarian type eater, but love interesting ingredients for good food. A lot of goodies can be found at Trader Joe's and nowhere else--or at least, for cheaper.

great wine selection. awesome pizza dough and cheeses. wonderful desserts in the frozen food section. They also make a fabulous frozen pizza margherita from Italy.
I do not like how most of their stuff does not contain preservatives. If you don't eat a loaf of bread in like 3 days it is starting to mold. Not a great thing for singletons.
I totally do not agree with the prices being great. I can get way better deals on things at the regular super market. You must be very picky with what you buy there. I only selectively shop there for specialty food things I can't find elsewhere.

I have shopped there, they choose to have a higher quality general merchandise at competitive price overall. I do find there is a luxury tax added to organic and natural foods and that can been seen in some of their product prices.
Shop around some more common brands will be cheaper at other stores.

its cheesy, but they have some good stuff. Various good frozen foods (meatballs, roasted peppers, some frozen brown rice, etc) and good ethnic saucs like Mole, some Thai stuff, etc. The cheap wine is like swill IMO, but good "different" takes on the same stuff you can get in a big grocery store. My kids love the kid size carts too.
