The Bible, The Quran and Science by Dr. Maurice Bucaille, a french surgeon. The book was published by American Trust Publications in 1979. Dr. Bucaille as an educated person with a scientific mind, it is very hard to believe in a holy book with the word of God being the ultimate source of knowledge if the holy book contradicts modern science. With that in mind, he concludes that the Holy Quran is the word of God untampered by humans and not contradicting science. In the case of the old testament or new testament, the human modification has made it scientifically unacceptable.

Science and religion are really interconnected. I believe, people of faith, regardless of what they call themselves, all have a deep respect for their creator. I took a micro-organism class and to me, it became apparent, science could not explain why some organisms' functions can not be classified in specific groups. There are organisms that where once considered "dead" with advancements in techology are now considered "alive" or have different properties then once thought. Science is consistantly changing because of this. How can these changes be explained sciencifically? Sceince explains these changes through the scienitific theory. It starts with a hypothisis, then its testing this hypothisis until it is proven or disproved by the battery of tests. While theses experiments are being conducted it is no surprise the countless varibles that can change the outcome of the results.
Weither its science or religion, there is a level of individual interpretation. It has been known, what one scienist thinks is a great idea, his collueges, may not agree. Just as Christians have Baptists and Penticostal, they are still Christian. And Muslims have Shi'ites and Sunnis, they are still Muslim. They just observe and practice slight differences then others. I am in no way condoning radical Christianism or Islam. I believe these individuals are the ones that give the normal practing believers a really bad reputation.
A few years ago, there was a controversy over human cloning. A French devolpment group had claimed they cloned the first human. This sent all kinds of religious groups in an uproar over the moral impact of their "development". Religious groups claimed that cloning was like playing God. The scientists behind the project claimed it was the advancement of science. This is a good example of the human interpretation.

I have a question for you... Why is it when someone says those three little words so many others get on the defensive side? People should be more open to things like this. I think that to truly be able to claim a religion you should first study all other religions with an open mind and then if you still choose to be Christian, Muslim, or even an Atheist then you can truly say you chose this religion. It is much better to choose a religion then to be born into a religion. Knowledge is the true source of power, please people use it.

Different philosophies ... Christians simply try to ignore science, Islam has made an industry out of pretending that their holy book somehow predicts scientific discoveries such as one location where salt and fresh water don't (immediately) mix because of local conditions or the Quran's description of fetuses as "blood clots" (if it wasn't so laughable, it would be a useful model for Christianity).

Well, as i read the answer of the question, i would like to tell a logic of the Bible, Quran and Science. First Bible and Quran are guidance for people that belives in faith and religions. Science are guidence for people that belive in fact and logic.

Now just fix in the link here, first history consider of How,Who, When,Where. People long time ago Record their activities on almost anything, for past 2000 year, these record will some how change, why? there is no copywrite or enforcement to monitor this. then when people realise this they start organise all record that already changing from the original source. then the debate take place either Cristian or Muslim for their believe. who know the source were from God or not. Its depend on what we believe.
I don't think that God want us to fight each other. All were happend now are only for people such Supreme Stupid Of Osama Bin Laden using Islam as excuse to realize his ideal. Do understand that ISLAM are friends of peace same as Cristians do

Hello first time posting. But i understand now as political issues arises and the political party tries to make people anti-Islam. It's funny and amazes me how much it is working. People criticizes the Quran. why? Have u ever read it. The Quran is the truth and neither contradicts itself one time. Scientists have studied the Quran and still is and still to this day finds no contradictions but answers. In fact some scientists have became Muslim after they read the Quran. Islam doesn't teach people to hate or kill. That's the thing the political party likes to brainwash people with. Why is it that Islam is so hated. Because it opposes gays and obliges its followers to pray 5 times a day. or the women must cover up for modesty. But when the catholic religion priest is molesting children and committing such terrible things of that nature wow. People tend to cover that up. And the women cover up too. But they are not extremists. Please if you have an opinion regarding Islam its better to come with the proofs and not from your own feelings or animosity about Islam. The Quran is the truth and never been revised not once. The Bible has been revised many of times. The original language the Bible was revealed in not a single person speaks it. I understand that some non Muslims will always have their hate for Islam. Like Allah says in surah Kafirun: I worship not that which you worship, Nor will you worship that which I worship And I shall not worship that which you are worshiping Nor will you worship that which I worship .To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islam).

First of all the bible has never been modified and this can be proven. In Ireland Christianity came in the 4th Century AD by the way of St Patrick. In the 6th Century AD a book was written called the book of Kells. The book of Kells is the bible that was written in latin and was used to spread Christianity to the rest of Europe and we still have this book to the present day. This book can be viewed in Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and you can also buy the book of Kells DVD.

The book of Kells was compared to the present day bible and they found no differences with it (This is a duration of over 1400 years).

By saying the bible has been modified over time is Islamic people trying to discredit the bible.

In the bible Jesus speaks about a religion that will come along and the religion will deny Jesus was the true Christ. This was wrote over 600 years before Islam came along.

The Quran is basically the bible copied with some stuff taken out and lies put into its place. It is the anti-Christ religion and this is all explained in Revelation in the bible.

I would urge all Islamic people to get a copy of the bible and read it and then to ask Jesus for there forgiveness before it's too late because the next time Jesus comes back that's it, it's all over and there are no second chances.

Ok, I have reviewed such drivel before. Every time it is slanted. From a purely scientific and literal translation of both books, they are both wrong. Wrong wrong wrong, why don't you get over it alread, and accept that anything that seems to contradict is a prophecy to be fulfilled, and if the Quran is more wrong, then give it up. Besides, then you won't just be telling Christians:

According to the Quran, the ressurection of Jesus was a fraud and a lie. I like that verse...

Don't be hypocrit, either give them both a chance or stop slanting your view...

Why don't you consider this too. I hate predjudice. Don't you see, you at least have to resort to the reality of the situation, otherwise you'll automatically think that you're better than other people and treat them badly, and that is not moral, which is clearly against the Word of God.

Please try and consider this with me with an open mind. Now, would Muslims change the Koran? No. OK, when the Gospels were written they were copied and spread all over the world. There are thousands of ancient copies all over the world and they are nearly identical. Why? Because, and this is important, IT NEVER CHANGED. Scientist and anthropologists agree that it was never changed. There are some very minor changes, these are typically like changing Jesus to Jesus Christ ans so forth. Hey, atheist scientists insist its the same 2000 year old fairy tale it always was. This arguement should really go away, it is using a lie.

I have no idea what Mohammad had, but the Gospels, we have today, have always been the same (in Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic whatever their original language).

You can either accept this or not, but most scientist would consider rejection to be done out of predjudice rather than reason.

being a student of science, i have studied Biology and i am a muslim. human body is made up of cells. and cells are made up of biological molecules, namely proteins, fats and carbohydrates. all these contain carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and other elements. but the one who has put life into these elements is Allah. just think of it all these elements combine together forms a human being. who else has the power and the wisdom to create such a flawless body which is self regulatory. no human being has ever been able to create even a finger like ours.
