5. Want to look better naked? Try drinking half as much alcohol. Alcohol contains calories. You may drink like a fish, but booze isn't water. Even a light beer has more than 100 calories. Booze makes you store fat. Your body sees alcohol as a poison, and tries desperately to get rid of it. Your liver stops processing all other calories until it has dealt with the alcohol. So anything else you eat during the time you're drinking is more likely to end up as fat. Alcohol also lowers testosterone. With more abdominal fat, testosterone drops.

To get smaller waist, you must reduce your body fat. There is no short cuts but here is the general tips.

1. Perform full body training (resistance training)
2. Moderate to high intensity cardio (such as interval training)
3. Proper eating

What exercises can you do? Well if you perform full body training, it will help add muscle mass and therefore increase your metabolism and be able to burn more fat through out the day.

Here are some exercises that will give you the best bang for your times:

Squat
Deadlift
Lunges
Military Press
Bench press/ push up
Lat pull down/ pull up
Planks
Row
etc.

These exercises are multi-joint movement and involves a lot of muscle in your body.

cardio. but you lose weight all over not just on your waist. there is no way to spot reduce.

starve yoourself and do crunches
