My dearest Jeffrey, if you don't know that by now, you better learn it or believe it fast. Lucifer was the most beautiful angel. If God had favourites he would probably have been it. Why do you think most things that are sins are so much fun. Satan is very creative and yes, he can take many beautiful forms: whatever he knows you want him to be. That's why we must be watchful. God bless.

Yes I believe that.
"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:14
The mormons like to talk about how an angel appeared to joseph smith and gave him a different gospel.
An angel gave mohammd his quran to.
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galations 1:6-9

Yes I do believe that satans will always try in any kind of effort to decept or to temp humans for turning away all of us from God.Satans vowed to Allah/God that they will mis lead humans who have no strong faith to Allah.Satans will be died only when this world is collapsed and crushed before resurrection day.
God spoke in the holy book that all satans will be brought to hell because they are conceit and they always bring humans to the wrong path.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

I think you are placing a lot of in a literal interpretation of a book that was not really meant to be taken literally. To study deception you do not need to look to superhuman archetypes such as satan or god. The is plenty of deception right here. It is hiding behind a veil of morality. You may find it every Sunday morning standing in a church deceiving people.
Personally, as a born again Pagan who happen to study Xian Theology for four years of college including the original Greek language (That was after 12 years of Xian school with Bible/ Indoctrination class), I believe that xtains generally put way to much thought in to these question about "satan" without considering self-reflection or the hypocrisy of the Catholic, fundamentalist and evangelic versions of these faiths.
Examples of hypocrisy:
The Bible:
Matthew 22:39 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' -
The hypocrisy:
Hate gays - Catholic, fundamentalist, and Evangelical xtianity
The Bible:
Suffer the little children . . ."
and More Bible:
"Whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believed in me, it were better for him that millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:6
The hypocrisy:
Allow priest to rape children and then move they parish to parish to cover it up, while sending the rapist priest letters of accommodation - then spend millions in legal defense and P.R. for the leaders that allowed this. The move and promote that leader to Rome where he sits on many important boards in the Vatican. - Catholic xtianity.(Doubt it- research Father Porter, Cardial Law, and The Diocese of Fall River Ma.)
The Bible:
Be kind to your enemies. Do good to those who hate you.
And more Bible:
"Thou shalt not bear false witness."
The hypocrisy:
Support President Bush while he lies and bomb people in Iraq . Is that doing good to the people that hate you? Catholic, fundamentalist, and Evangelical xtianity
I have plenty more if you don't get the point.

Rev.12
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Yes, and he has deceived the whole world according to this verse. So don't think you are spared.

I don't see why not. The devil will use anything that appears beautiful in an attempt to turn one away from the Absolute.
