Every year, mid December to mid January I get sick. My asthma gets extremely bad and I have to go to the doctor. I can hardly talk and breathing becomes increasingly difficult. I try my inhaler, but it burns. The only thing that helps is a hot, steamy bathroom. It's the worse after I wake up. I feel like I'm dying. The doctor can never tell me exactly what the problem is, only that they have caught it before it becomes pneumonia. Does anyone else have a problem like this or know someone who does? I almost went to the ER today, but I began feeling a little better after a bathroom treatment.

I don't know where you live, but the weather I think has a lot to do with that. I used to get bronchitis every April/May & October/November when the weather changes.

Good luck to you - maybe you should try another doctor?
Keep up the steam, apparently it helps you!!!
Take care!

I was wondering if you have any sinus drainage ?? That stuff can cause a sore throat. I just learned about that last week ,when I was at the Dr.

Maybe, like me, you are allergic to pine and fir trees or something else that comes with the season.
