You should spend time with both of your parents, but as long as the courts give a choice it is nothing to feel bad about either way. Your parents are getting divorced and have to deal with it. You, unfortunately, just get caught in the middle. May God go with you.

Ooh, tough one. Splitting parents is always a tough desicion. If you want to get together with your dad more, I'd suggest maybe living with him for like a month, but then coming back to your mom and visiting your dad a couple days a week. But you really should stay with your main caregiver.

It's gonna be very hard for your mom if your dad leaves her. Even harder for her if you go with him. If you really feel like you need to go with your dad I say go, but tell her ahead of time so she's not as hurt.

You didn't say how old you are but it sounds like you're old enough to make these decisions on your own. Just tell your mom the truth and be prepared to give her your reasons because she will be hurt no doubt. Good-luck sweetie and follow your heart.

You might be surprised to learn your dad doesn't want you to go with him. Have you discussed it with him? What you really need to do is ask both of them to sit down and talk with you about it and see both of their reactions. Just be honest about your feelings. Honesty is always best.

Why do people do sh** like this at Christmas? Is it so it will hurt every year at Christmas? The ultimate punishment forever?

Be truthful. Mothers love their children unconditionally and as long as you are truthful and say everything, she will understand. Don't worry. Be strong.
