No, don't rush it. The only reason you should get a boyfriend is if you want one. Good night!

Don't just get with any guy because everyone is saying it's time for you to have a boyfriend. It is so refreshing to hear that a teenage girl is interested in more than just boys! Good for you. Next time someone asks you why you're single you can tell them that you're just waiting for the right guy to come along. But, don't be afraid to date. It's not like you have to marry the guy because he takes you out for dinner. Pay your own way sometimes and specify when you want to be "just friends". I'm proud of you. You're young. Be selfish and focus on you. In ten years you'll be glad you did.

Don't ever feel pressured into dating someone. Do it beause you want to and you feel that it is right.
You said it already: you have a great social life, your family thinks that you're doing fine and you're enjoying life.
If your peers and/or friends are pressuring you, then do NOT listen to them. They don't know what is right for you. Waiting is the best thing :)
You'll be happier in the long run.

im 19 and no boyfriend either, personal choice really , and dont get pressured to have one, if you dont want one, if you are not feeling love, then you dont need to have one
most women think that they need men to complete them or define them, sometimes you might feel as if you are alone or not "in" because everyone is doing it, and having boyfriends tons of them, but no need to follow what society is doing, no need to force yourself to fall for someone just so you could call them your bf, its nice to know that im not the only one who loves being single, im not into boy stuffs really i have so much more to do and so much more to concentrate upon rather than relationships, i will have a boyfriend if i found the perfect one,i will not lower down my standards, i complete myself, we women dont need boyfriends just so we could be happy, we are complete on our own right,
im also pissed at suitors who constantly think that you and him are already together just because you are single, its never wrong to tell them to back off, be cruel to be kind, no man has a right to claim you if you haven;'t really given your heart to him.

Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders, you will move to that step when you are ready, not when someone else says so...Enjoy life the other will come..I think a lot of people get themselves into relationships way before they are ready or mature enough to handle the problems that sometimes comes with it...Keep moving along at your pace...take care...smart woman.

I'm 17 and never had a boyfriend, and I'm just fine.
Sure, guys ask me out but that doesn't mean I want to date them. If you don't want a boyfriend at the moment, then don't worry about it. Wait till you find someone you really like.

Boyfriends are accessories, not necessities. Know yourself, become self reliant both financially and emotionally. Then when you do find that right person, you will be with them because you want to be and not because you have to be. As for your so called friends, if they really are your friends, they will know and understand you position on this matter. Good luck *smiles*

Go ahead and tell them to back off, if you think it's right for you. If they're so intent on pressuring you to do things against your will, maybe you need new friends.

well, your priorities are just different. It is okay to take it slow. Just do what it is comfortable for you. I am sure that you will eventually start developing feelings for the opposite sex.
