If there were something like "God" he would have created us as well as all the rest. If he knew anything and in advance, why should he create something that destroys the rest? Did he have a bad day? Was it on monday morning? Probably not.
Maybe during this century people will understand that they deceive themselves and love to be deceived, and that it's time to take responsibility, forget all excuses and enjoy the next moment.

Man can't really destroy the earth. The matter will go on in another form with us or without us.

man will destoryed for rejecting Jesus Christ as thier savior:
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
far as the trees, ever read in Revelation:
Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
one day 1/3 of the tree "population" will be burnt

When the Judgement of God comes in full, in partial measure now, it will not be a result of the symptoms you mention. It will come from the refusal to submit to the Almighty. Everything revolves around our relationship to God as evidenced but not punished in the symptoms.

Man may end up destroying themselves will-fully....if they continue to destroy the earth at the same rate that we are right now.
God gave us freewill...and if we continue to use it, to destroy our own home...then so be it.

Should man destroy these notions of beings who are out to be merciful and damning? Should man try to educate himself and bring himself past such delusions?
