I have a friend that I've known for 3 years, and I really like him- great guy, kind, talented, funny, the works. But I've never had a boyfriend before and I know nothing about dating or asking guys out. Plus, I'm a Junior, he's a Senior, the year is halfway over, and if I don't do something soon, I'll lose him forever! What should I do?

We're not like best friends or anything, but I sit next to him in band every day, and that's about the only time I get to talk to him. But I've never had a boyfriend before and I know nothing about dating or asking guys out. Plus, I'm a Junior, he's a Senior, the year is halfway over, and if I don't do something soon, I'll lose him forever! What should I do?
(Also, as a note, I'm like totally prude, which I hate, so kissing out of the blue is definitely not an option.)

Well, first check to make sure he's not in a relationship....Then ask real casual like' wana kick it a with me at a movie'
It feels werid for a girl to come on to a guy, so don't comeon to heavy.

well i think firs of all before you make any move you think he likes you? if so then you should go for it and give a try i think theirs nothing to loose but him age don't really matter if theirs love? here are a few moves you could start with in your situation and in my point of view? #1-get more sexy on the way you act with him and could be the way to look at him/smile,
#2-start to flirt with him tell him more sweet things his cute,he loocks handsom,etc,
#3-well just tell him strayt out that you like him you now its not right for a girl to tell a man how she fells for him but your scare to loose him and that you hope for him to give you that opportunity to date each other and not letting your heart brocken that if it works out well keep it workin for that love and that if it doesnt work out well atleast he gave you that shance?
