6 Then the LORD said, "Put your hand inside your cloak." So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous [a]—it had become as white as snow.
7 "Now put it back into your cloak," he said. So Moses put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored, like the rest of his flesh.
If God turned Moses hand white as sign of his power what color was Moses hand to begin with?

I own't go all into the histor of Upper and Lower Egypt, but I am convinced that Moses, and the original Jews were black, and I mean black not Arab, as Arab are basically a mix of Asians and black.

If the story of Moses was taken place in England and the promise land was Ireland, white people would have a real problem with a black man playing Moses, for example Wesley Snipes! You would say for sure and dispute it to the death that Wesley Snipes was not in England 4000 years ago and black was not the true color Moses! So why is it so hard for you to see the black man point of view that there surely was no Charlton Hestons deep in the depths of Egyptian and Ethiopian culture 4000 years ago. This post is equally important for blacks in America take those white Euorpean pictures of white Jesus out of your amchurches and homes ASAP! When the UN gave Isreal to the so-called Jews from Germany, Poland, and Russia, the Egyptian President an Arab said, "The JEWS left here black and came back white." We can all believe with a fact that people from Poland and Germany was not in Egypt 4000 years ago, in fact our ancestors left black people art and paintings so that there would be no doubt.

If they made fun of Moses' wife. She was a Medianite and they they were black. Moses then must have been a different color. So marrying a woman of different color, they talked about him. Look in Israel now. are there any black Israeli's? They still read the Tora, and that's what they did back in Jesus' day. They are still in Isreal and they are olive skinned not like the white American skin. Plus, back then people were out of the house more, in the field working, fishing, in their land planting crops, all day working. So their color was darkened by from the sun, more than people of today. They were not the African Black.
Plus, why must it matter of skin color. God looks at the heart. Repent and receive what the Lord has done for you on the cross. You must be born again.

Moses was a white man with darker skin from the desert. I'm a white man and I have a naturally darker skin and in the summer I get quite dark. Put up something solid white against my hand and you'll see a stark contrast. Being a leper is to be diseased and you could easily see a leper hand from a healthy hand plain and simple. That proves nothing about skin color. Unless your albino it would be easily noticed. He even married a Ethiopian Cush black woman and it offended his sister and Aaron so bad that God struck her with leprosy. So if he was black what difference would it have made to marry a black woman? None at all but it did because he was not black but of a whiter complexion.
But it matters not ultimately. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord can be saved. It's a free gift of Christ without cost, without price. The richest man in the world can't buy salvation and the poorest man in the world can receive it free of charge. How blessed we really are.

Moses passed as the Pharoah's grandson and served under him for 40 years. So if Moses passed easily as an Egyptian and fooled the Pharoah then of course he was black just like the Egyptians. And if he is an Israelite passing as an Egyptian then that means the Israelites were black too. Undebatable.

Whiteness caused by leprosy is different from Caucasian whiteness, and would be visible against anyone's normal pigmentation. I am inclined in thinking that Moses, like most people living around the Mediterranean, was olive skinned. Since he was a Hebrew, and there are still Hebrews living in that part of the world, I suspect he looked a lot like them. Though I must concede that there is nothing to say that he was not black.

Read a history book before you post your stereotype bullshit. modern European Jews are Israelis and not Israelites of the bible. Modern Egyptian are not the same as ancient egyptians, If you want to know the truth go to Egypt Africa, the writing is on the wall and it's carved in stone, if Egypt is in Africa and there is no record of a mass migration from Europe to Africa in that time then why is it so hard to believe they where black..... I could go on for days trying to prove the Egyptian and the Israelites Hebrews where black Africans but if some people refuse to believe because of there subconsciously racist minds, then let those with eyes see and those with ears hear.

Jesus was a made white and blond because he served God on earth and propagated his message. The reward he got from God was white colour, blue eyes and blond staringht hair and descarded his curly hair . This took place in heavne and not on earth. On earth he was Black. . Arabs migrated to North Africa in the 7 th century A.D. after the advent of Islam. Moses was Egyptian and was also Black. Ethiopians are the first Christians in the world and Jesus to them is Black and looks like an Ethiopian. Jesus , Moses and Muhammad are from slave backgrounds in relation to Buddha( Buddhism) and Rama ( Hinduism) royalty.

A fine question. Moses was a Semite, brownish like modern Arabs and Jews. Egypt held pretty much to the same coloring. The black coloring belonged to the Nubian at the 3rd - 6th Nile Cataracts. They held one dynasty in Egypt.
