They have like Christian hip hop and christian heavy metal. Believe it or not those are real genres of music.

No I think the music in heaven wont have a beat. You see a beat installs a time frame, and time cannot exist in an eternal state. Essentially you can't tell one second part from another, one year apart from another, so the music in heaven will be beatless - like the way I drum. I cannot hear the beat or keep the beat of any song or rhythm, so I always say I am just more in touch with heavenly music. But no I don't think bands like TFK, Skillet, Demon Hunter and Flyleaf will be playing in heaven, as good as they might be.

Well, if God created Jimi Hendrix, then Jimi will be playing in Heaven. Who says that all the people that play Christian music are automatically going to Heaven anyway?

I wouldn't think so. God has a knowledge of all things including every music genre on earth. I'm sure if the music is for good, in its intent to entertain, it will be there.

Music in heaven would me much more awesome then anything you would find here on earth. Our new forms would be able to hear at wider levels of sounds.
Best wishes.

Air Supply already has contracted with Peter and the Apostles to be the official band of Heaven. Get used to it.

Methinks the praise of God is about God and God's tastes. If God wants to hear each individual heart, then count on the music of your taste. Personally, I'm hoping we can skip Brahms.
