I've been dating my best guy friend for about two months, and we still act like we never started dating. We haven't kissed or anything. What's supposed to change when you start dating your best friend?

We're both freshmen in high school. I just remember that everyone would probably need to know that for age-appropriate things. Considering I don't plan to have sex at age fourteen...

Another thing I forgot: I really want him to kiss me, but I'm too shy to make the move.

You must have the talk. The same thing happened to me and my friend Daniel. We Dated for a while but never acted like it. Then one day we were camping with our families and we went down by the lake and laid under the stars and started talking about what we were. We decided that we should just go ahead and go out so we did! Best of luck to you!!

Well theres always the first thing first, you can always hold each others hands if you havent done that yet, usually i hold the kissing to at least 1 month into a relationship but some other guys i know of usually go for it on the first date, yours is probably a slacker in that or probably just way to shy, to maybe get him to change have one of your friends talk to him about kissing and maybe it will get him to come around. Dont tell him upfront that you might wanna move on to other things such as that, maybe he might take a wrong impression or whatnaught, so take the safe side and have a friend talk to him about kissing.. maybe start a conversation talking about 'so have you kissed her yet' and soforth getting his opinion and view of why hasnt he moved on to that stage of the relationship yet. Good luck :]

I feel that if you are girlfriend and boyfriend that this is your time for getting to know one another. And for establishing a strong realationship, have fun do things that suit you both. Dinners, movies, go do things with one anothers families and friends. Just give yourself time to build to be more. Its even harder when you are best friends cause you then become uncomfortable with some of the things that you may have once done when you were friends. Holding hands, hugging those are some of the things that should be part of dating don't push it to fast cause you don't want to mess up a good realationship as well as a friendship.

Nothing hopefully your best friends are the perfect lovers, sure you might kiss eachother and instead of going on dates with other people you just go together but being your bf/gfs bestfriend is just part of the package of a realationship

LOL- do whats comfortable- dont jump into something. if you havent kissed at least though you probably arent going to. you havent because the fire isnt there to make you want to. that sucks. but who knows, maybe you're both goofy, in which case kiss the man girl! show him some love!. once you start you probably wont be able to stop!

Holding hands; then kissing; then touching; then sex.

Draw the line wherever you feel comfortable.
