I love nearly everything on my plate at christmas, roast potatoes, roasted parsnips, turkey, carrotts, stuffing and sauasages wrapped in bacon.
I tend to leave the sausages wrapped in bacon til last with a bit of stuffing.
I'm so looking forward to my christmas dinner.

yummy! can't wait for christmas! this year we are having "a trilogy of norfolk poultry" (which is a duck in a pheasant in a chicken, all boneless) from our local butcher with all the roasted veg and trimmings. i normally leave a bit of the tastiest for last so the taste stay's with me longer but it will be hard to choose this year!

lol don't worry your not sad, i've been planning this since october!

The meat! I always leave the best until last, so I tend to eat the vegetables first, then the potatoes (I know they're a vegetable, too, but they always seem to be counted separately in diet books, etc.!), then the meat. That way, I can reward myself for having eaten the brussel sprouts, etc. first, and have something nice at the end. As far as Christmas dinner goes, we don't tend to have turkey - this year, we're having lamb, in a guard of honour. I'll *definitely* leave that until last, as it's going to be good!
Enjoy your Christmas meal, and have a great day!

When I was a child I would always try and avoid the sprouts - my father made me sit at the table for lunch, supper, breakfast, next day lunch and supper because I would not, could not eat the sprouts. I was as sick as a parrot!! I think that sort of punishment amounts to child abuse.

Nowadays I eat everything except parsnips, sweet potato and swede - and of course sprouts. I could not wait to leave home! Oh and I do not like caulifower.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Your a bit of a sad case really are'nt you.

What a boring question, have you nothing more exciting to offer up, other than a meal which can be eaten any day of the week.

We are not in the l800's now you know it's 2007 nearly! and turkey is one of the cheapest meats you can put on a table.

Anyway, I suppose it would'nt do for us all to think the same,so I hope you do enjoy your dinner and have a happy christmas anyway.

I tend to eat in equal amounts, love to scoop a bit of everything onto my fork throughout my meal, so to conclude I don't leave anything till last purposely. Perhaps the lovely gooey bits and crispy bits get left till last with a slurp of bodied red wine. YUM!
