No. There are height requirements. I am 5'2" and I had some trouble. There are a lot of Filipino's in the Navy, they are generally pretty short. But the shortest I saw was about 4'11". Plus being a dwarf you have a congenital disorder. That's frowned upon.

Generally, I'd think that would be difficult, but there was an episode of that show with that family (sorry, can't think of the name!) that the parents are both dwarfs and one of their 4 kids is. Anyway, there was an episode of that show where they visited with a man that was a dwarf and was in the military-the navy, I think.

Yes, provided they can get through baisic training. Some examples being able to fire a rifle without falling over, carrying/pulling a man 40ft, climbing ropes...

All these tests are based on wanting big, strong men in our man's army. If you can't do these things, you have to ask yourself if the army is for you.

Sure some people may say that you could have some clerical job somewhere....eg codebreaking....
But in a war situation, you need to be able to defend yourself and others should an enemy storm through those doors looking for code-breaking machines,

Iran and North Korea have dwarfs for Presidents. I'm sure that they have a waiver that allows fellow dwarfs to join their military.

Send them an email

Good question, you would need to ask a recruiter. I think it might be hard for a little person to meet the running and some of the other physical fitness requirements though.

During the Vietnam War, persons under a certain hight were a premium. They were used for going into the tunnels where the Vietcong did most of their movements.

I would think not. You can't even serve if you have flat feet. Or if you take antidepressants. I think they'd REALLY discriminate against little people.

+ I think it depends on which country they are trying to join the military in. The US has size restrictions.
