good way to ask a girl out to the movies?

heres what im gonna do i need to know if its ok :

"hey what are u doin this weekend?>"
if she says idk or nothin il say " do u want to go watcha movie with me?"
if she says yes il be happy if she says no il just say ok..

directly but casually...

like so:

"hey... you wanna go see a movie with me?"

this way if she says no its no big deal, and its low pressure on her because you asked casually...

its also easier on you because if she rejects you then it seems like no big deal because you didnt put your heart into it and you wont have that akward period of silence that may last for weeks.

NOTE: if she says yes dont get all happy (on the outside) because its not very cool... from both a guys and girls perspective.

I wouldn't open with "what are you doing?"

Just say, "I'd like to go to the movies this weekend---would you like to go with me?"

I don't know why guys stress over this. If you just ask, and don't try to be clever or cheesey, you'll be fine.
