I use to work at a extremly high end salon in Philadelphia and I would say the best way to pick a salon is by the products they carry. The salon I worked at carried Kerastase which is only sold at high end salons. If you can find a salon in your area that carries their products I would say try it out. I know it sounds crazy but I just moved to Charlotte and couoldnt find a good salon and I finally found a salon that sells Kerastase and my hair turned out great. The type of products a salon carries tells you a lot about the service they provide. High end products high=end results. Hope this is helpful although im sure my advice sounds a little strage.

I stay in Oakland County, and that i have met shallow/stuck up ladies from right here from new money communities like Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, and Beverly Hills, (vs previous money Royal Oak, Grosse Pointes, Huntington Woods). yet there are various those forms of grils from Macomb County, from North Warren and Sterling Heights. Wayne County probable wouldn't have the snuddiness that OC and MC have using higher inhabitants of blue collar households and are maximum likely down-to-earth.
